October 2016 in Greendale

This month we're highlighting two events, one at the beginning of the month and the other at the end.

The popular Greendale Open Market ends for the season in October. If you have not made it to the Open Market on Broad Street (between Northway and Schoolway) this summer, be sure to show up on Saturday, October 8. For any questions, call the Greendale Park and Recreation Department at 414-423-2790.

Then at the end of the month, be sure to catch the Halloween Parade at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 30. The lineup begins at 2:30 at Brinkman Field. And, so that you're aware of timing, the annual Trick or Treat sugarfest follows the parade, beginning at 4:00 p.m. and ending at 7:00 p.m. Have those treats ready for the little ghosts and goblins that stop by.
