February 2017 in Greendale

In this monthly post I try to keep you up-to-date on upcoming events in Greendale for next month. Here's a look at February 2017.

Greendale Winterfest

Saturday, February 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You can participate in (or sample) the annual Chili Cookoff contest. There will be ice carvers creating works of art. You can ice skate. And there will be plenty of activities for the kids. The Broad Street shops will have specials all day long. You can get more info on the official Winterfest Facebook event page.

Village Board Meetings

This month there are two village board meetings scheduled, the first and third Tuesday, which are February 7 and February 21. These are at 7:00 p.m. You'll find the board gathering in the Village Hall Boardroom at 6500 Northway.

What Else To Do?

There are a variety of village shops you can visit. How about this month you visit KitschëCoo​ at 5668 Broad Street. You will find unique and handmade gifts feating the work of more than 100 local artisans. Plus, in their studio, they teach a varity of art classes and workshops for all ages.
